Sir Thomas Abney Primary School

Online Safety

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school, where we celebrate diversity and difference and acknowledge the richness that this brings to our school community.

We believe that we have an important role to play in ensuring that children are kept safe whilst using technology. Children have access to an ever-increasing range of technology that links to the internet and through the computing and PSHE curriculum, as well as whole school events like, Safer Internet Day; the children are taught how to stay safe online.

The children at Sir Thomas Abney are fully aware of different forms of bullying, including online bullying,  and they are actively taught how to address any instances of this at home and in school.

For more information on how online safety is taught as part of the school's curriculum, please refer to the curriculum pages for computing and PSHE.
